A VPN setup wizard pops up to guide first-time users, setting up a VPN has never been easier! The setup wizard will only appear once, when the router boots for its first time.

2.1. Insert SIM, Dial Instantly

Simply insert a SIM card. No complex setup required, the router connects instantly, as easily as powering on a smartphone. Skip the hassle of navigating clunky menus, and save time for what matters.

What's more, v4.8 also supports IP dialing, you can now make calls over Wi-Fi or a local SIM data plan.

2.2. Smart Cellular Connection & Signal Boosting

v4.8 gives you more control over your cellular network. With Lock Operator you can lock-on to specific carrier network according to your needs. Whether you're after top speed or rock-solid stability, it’s all at your fingertips, ensuring the best network service anytime, anywhere.

The Lock Tower feature enables the router to zero in on the strongest-signal base station, just like a radar. No matter where you are, you can always maintain the best signal strength and avoid frequent disconnections. High-bandwidth tasks such as video conferences, online games, and HD live streaming can all run smoothly, freeing you from the troubles of lag and latency.

2.3. Track & Manage Internet Traffic

To let you better understand and manage your traffic consumption, we've redesigned the cellular interface. v4.8 added more status displays and parameter configurations.

For example, under Data Used, you can track your data usage and set data limit to avoid exceeding data plans and incur extra fees.

3.1. Toggle Repeater, Wi-Fi, VPN tunnels, or LED Display

You can now toggle more core functions, including repeater, Wi-Fi and LED display. To toggle VPN, you should set which tunnel the toggle switch activates (if you have setup multiple tunnels).

Forget switching back and forth in settings menus, just a simple flick makes operation effortless.
